Auditing & Reporting
Atlanta Recycling Solutions is proud to offer asset management services to all of our customers who have the need for it. Your equipment will be segregated within our warehouse to ensure that all proper steps are taken to provide the most accurate data for your audits. Once completed, your report will be generated and sent to you via email along with your recycling certificate.
Data Destruction and the Department of Defense Guidelines
Atlanta Recycling Solutions provides services to companies that need sensitive data removed from their IT Assets. Our certification requires that we remove all components from a device that contains sensitive information upon arrival at our facility by our sorting team and placed in a secure area. Our technicians follow the guidelines in accordance with the U.S. Department of Defense’s process using DoD 5220.22-M specifications. DoD 5220.22-M is a software-based data sanitization method used in various file shredder and data destruction programs to overwrite existing information on a hard drive or other storage devices.
This technique was originally defined by the U.S. National Industrial Security Program (NISP) in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and is one of the most common sanitization methods used in data destruction software.
Please contact Atlanta Recycling Solutions today to learn more on how our secure data destruction program can work for you!
Erasing Your Hard Drives
Erasing a hard drive using the DoD 5220.22-M data sanitization method will prevent all software-based file recovery methods from lifting information from the drive and should prevent most, if not all, hardware-based recovery methods.
Atlanta Recycling Solutions, offering computer and electronic recycling in Alpharetta, Georgia, understands that each business has particular asset removal needs, and will customize a solution that works for you. We are dedicated to your security as well as responsible practices for reducing, reusing, and recycling e-waste.
